Noting the power of serving

When we talk of the power of serving， especially for increasing the power of serving the ball, people always think of the consequences of serving the ball，the ball ether flies out of the table or bounces too high . But actually, when we serve the short ball with the increasing of strength, the ball is short, turning, low and good placement; when we serve the long ball with increasing of the strength, the ball is long, fast, turning and falls on the left and right corners of table. So it reflects the artistry and technical of table tennis. It not only can get from the practice, but also it is right in theory. As long as we serve the ball with the increasing of the power, we should control the ratio of impact force and friction and increase the length of spiral line when the ball rubs the paddle; reduce the thickness of friction, increase the time of the ball rubbing the paddle appropriately. Then you can achieve the above effects.
Attention on preparing for attacking after serving the ball:

On the whole, the purpose of preparing for attacking after serving the ball is: To improve the serving quality by various ways and increase the difficulty of the opponent’s returning the ball, to make the opponent hit a ball with low quality, thereby, it creates a condition for attacking.
Specifically, the following points should be noted:
(1) It makes use of opponent’s loopholes and weakness, constantly changing in placement, rotation, power and curve, thereby, increase the serve quality, and create the chance of attacking.
(2) Research the serve discipline, when serving, you can predict the opponent hitting line generally, thereby increase the probability of attacking successfully.
(3) Use the power of serve, maneuver the opponents, such as, serve the close-net, short and spiral ball, combination the end-line, left ,right, close to body, long and fast ball, it often can have a multiplier effect.
(4) Use the combination of spiral, such as, serve close-net and non-spiral ball, and serve close-net and backspin ball, left side topspin ball, serve to the left side of the opponents. This spin combination makes the opponents feel unfamiliar so that you can control the competition rhythm and gain the points constantly.
How to receive the loop

Introduction to receiving loop: returning loops is also related to timing. Firstly, if the opponent’s loop is spinny, the ball should be blocked when it is around the height of the net. If the intention is to counter loop. Then the ball should be hit when it is around half the net’s height or a bit higher. If the opponents ball exceeds twice the height of the net, its spin would have completely come out. In which case it would be difficult to “press down” on it, and the only option is to hit it directly. Secondly, one cannot entirely depend on pressing down on the ball to control its trajectory. If the blade is pressed down so that it is parallel to the table, it would easily miss the blade or hit the edge. Actually, such drastic pressing down is not necessary, because control of the ball’s trajectory depends on timing and the direction of force exerted by the body and hand/arm. In other words, it is using the body’s centre of gravity to help the arm to press the ball down. The body’s centre of gravity or balance is used to: stabilize upper and lower extremities (i.e. arms and legs), assist in generating power and help modify the stroke. It is sometimes impossible to control a loop entirely with the arm alone, and in particular centre of gravity is needed to control the length and height of the loop. Thirdly, with backhand receive of loops, one needs to learn how to direct the stroke/power downward and sideways ，Nowadays, a lot of people teaches that one should direct the stroke forward, but that often leads to the stroke being too upwards and the ball can easily go out. This is not accurate as backhand receive of loop should actually direct the stroke towards the right. In this way, counter looping and counter blocking should be much easier.
