Butterfly National Seniors - Revised Groups

The ITTA Events Committee has released the revised Group Draws for this weekend's 2010 Butterfly National Senior Championships. With two to qualify from each group, the draw has thrown up some very interesting matches. In the Women's event Sara Dolan of Easpoint will face Deirdre Murphy, while Senior International Fiona Dennett will face team-mate Rebecca Kenny from ALSAA. Top seeds Mogey and Givan will expect to progress, with a battle for 2nd place expected in Groups A and B respectively.
In the Men's event, reigning champion Gavin Maguire faces Alan O'Reilly, Rory O'Dea and Marcus Hughes. Top seed Paul McCreery is drawn against Niall McDonnell, Stephen Keenan and Eoin Murphy. Group F will be an interesting one, as Ashley Robinson, recently returned from a week at the Sweden Open and Safirs International faces the experienced John Bowe.
