Entries Open for STIGA Junior Classification

The ITTA has opened entries for the STIGA Irish Junior Classification 10/11, the first major tournament of the Junior domestic season. This event represents a great chance for players to play in a round-robin format, get lots of matches and establish their early position on the Butterfly Junior Ranking Lists. Winners of this event last year included Ulster's Jonathon Porter, Ashley Givan, Laura Finn and Paul McCreery as well as Leinster's Shi Zhao Li, all of whom went on to have excellent seasons. With over 175 players participating last year, this year's event could see over 200 players participate.
The tournament takes place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September in DCU, Dublin. All players are guaranteed a lot of matches due to the round robin nature of the event.

Entry fees are very reasonable, at €12 for a single age group entry and €20 to enter two age groups.
