Entry Reminder: Senior Nationals

The ITTA has today issued a final reminder for entries to the forthcoming BUTTERFLY National Senior Closed Championships which take place this year in Dublin City University, Glasnevin, Dublin on the 6th March. Entries close on Monday 22nd February, 2010.

This is the most prestigous event in the Irish domestic Senior calendar, with players from all over the island competing for the title of National Senior champion. Commenting on the launch of this event, ITTA Technical Director John O'Donoghue stated that "The Butterfly National Championships are the most important tournament of the season. Every player aspires to be National champion in singles or doubles. Ranking lists are temporary but a national title is something no one can take away from you." 

With a full programme of events including Veterans, Doubles, Under 21 and a Restricted Single event, it is sure to be a great day of competition in DCU. This signals a drive from the ITTA to offer opportunities for all who play table tennis to participate in our National Championships.

All players entering this tournament must be affiliated to the ITTA. If you have yet to affiliate and would like to enter, please contact the ITTA office(details below) to discuss affiliation options.
