European Super Cup on TV

St Petersburg will be the centre of the European table tennis this week. The best paddlers from the Old Continent will gather at prestigious and luxurious event in Russia on December 1st and 2nd.    Action will be shown on British Eurosport on Tuesday, December 1st, from 4pm to 6pm.  Day Two will be shown live on Wednesday from 1pm.

At  the  2009  European  Super  Cup  in  St  Petersburg  will  play  Timo  BOLL  (Germany),  Vladimir  SAMSONOV  (Belarus),  Michale  MAZE  (Denmark),  Dimitrij  OVTCHAROV  (Germany),  Werner  SCHLAGER  (Austria),  Kalinikos  KREANGA  (Greece),  Jorgen  PERSSON  (Sweden)  and  host wild-card Fedor KUZMIN (Russia).  Timo BOLL will defend his title and try to win the top prize third year in the row. Not only that BOLL  defends the title, but he is also unbeaten at the Super Cup. There is no doubt that he is in great form,  especially after fantastic performance in Istanbul, where he beat WANG Hao at the Euro-Asia All Stars Series. With the win in World Cup in Moscow and great game in Istanbul, Vladimir SAMSONOV is at the top of the list of the favourites. European champion Michael MAZE and always dangerous and cunning vice champion  Werner  SCHLAGER  will  be  there  to  try  to  spoil  their  plans.  With  raising  star  Dimitrij OVTCHAROV, experienced Jorgen PERSSON,  there is a great deal of good matches in prospect.
