Fermanagh Open 2010: Entries Open
29 January 2010

The Fermanagh TTA has announced details of the 2010 STIGA Fermanagh Senior Open. This is a prestigious ITTA ranking event which is regularly attended by some of Ireland’s top players. This year’s event takes place on Saturday 20th February in Fivemiletown College. In recent years, the Open has become a popular tournament on the Irish calander, and last year was no exception, attracting nearly 90 players from all over the country – it is the last major event in the build-up to the Butterfly National Senior Championships and represents ideal preparation for the players. This year an estimated £1000 prize money is on offer, with cash prizes for all of the events.
Current Men’s champion Peter Graham and Women’s champion Amanda Mogey will both be eager to retain their titles but both will be expected to be pushed hard as the strength in depth of Irish table tennis at present makes picking a winner at these events a tricky business.
