Gold Medal Triumph for Irish Women at Senior 6 Nations

The Irish Women's Team of Amanda Mogey and Ashley Givan won Gold Medals in the 6 Nations Seniors in Basildon over last weekend beating the powerful English and Wales teams as well as Scotland, Guernsey and Isle of Man. Mogey took the scalp of Charlotte Carey, who is world ranked over 100 places higher than Mogey and is still in line for selection for Team GB at the 2012 Olympics. .
The Men's Team of Paul McCreery and Ashley Robinson took Silver Medals , finishing in 2nd place to the powerful English duo of Darius Knight and Chris Doran. They beat Scotland, Wales, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. In the overall competition, the joint teams finished in 2nd place, winning further Silver Medals"
