ITTA Open Application Process for New Equipment

The Board of Directors of the ITTA is delighted to announce that following an application to the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport under its Capital Grant Programme, the Association was successful in securing €50,000 in funding for the provision of a substantial quantity of table tennis equipment to support the development of our sport at all levels.
The primary focus of this grant will be to provide equipment to schools, clubs and projects who are affiliated to the ITTA, thereby boosting the Association's efforts in the development and promotion of table tennis throughout the country.
The Association expects significant interest from clubs/projects who would wish to benefit from this new equipment. To this end, an open and transparent application process has been put in place. Applications are welcome from any clubs/projects based in the Republic of Ireland under the conditions of the grant.
The Process will be as follows:
- Applications received by 5th March 2011
- Provincial Branches asked for input on all projects in their area – 12th March 2011
- Meeting of ITTA Sub-committee to make decision on all applications – 19th March
- Projects/Clubs notified, contracts signed and equipment delivered – April 2011.
