Level 1 Coaching Course

Thirteen aspiring coaches were put through their paces at the Level 1 Coaching Course that took place in Goleen Community Centre last weekend. Although intense the three day course was enjoyed by all participants. Students from varying backgrounds took part, club members, teachers and current players. All had one thing in common – a desire to learn the skills needed to help develop table tennis in their area and to pass on to young players their love of the game.
The course was delivered by tutor Owen Kelly and he was delighted with the level of knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm shown by the students. He agreed that a number of coaches show huge potential and will be a major asset to their clubs over the next few years.
