New Club to open in Athlone

December 4th sees the opening of Athlone's newest table tennis club. Club leaders Michael Barry and Kariem Sabir have secured an ideal venue in Drum Community Centre. This busy centre is located in the Summerhill area of the town adjacent to Summerhill National School. Club sessions run from 10am -1pm and are open to anyone interested in playing table tennis. The minimum age is 7 years old and sessions will cater for teens, students, adults , OAPs and families interested in learning and developing their skills.
