New Table Tennis Club on Dublin’s Northside
22 June 2011
Raven Table Tennis Club opened its doors this week in Sacred Heart Boys School in Finglas.
Sacred Heart School has a long history of Table Tennis winning National and Leinster titles over the years. Many international and interprovincial players such as John Murphy, Conor Nolan, Daniel & Stephen Keenan and Ciarán Kelly started their playing careers in Sacred Heart Boys School. Now the young players of the school have a club for extra training. It is hoped that the girls of Mother of Divine Grace Girls School will also take up the opportunity to play in the new club.
Sessions are on Mondays and Thursdays from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. The cost per session is euro 3.00 per person and the club currently has eight tables so there will be plenty of opportunity to play.
We wish the committee and coaches involved in Raven Table Tennis Club - Shay Logue, Phylis Kenny, Stephen Keenan, Sinead Kelly all the very best in their drive to grow their new club. For more information contact Liam Ó Ceallaigh on 0860413036.
