The proposed Charity event will take place on Saturday and entries will be taken on the day.  The Munster Branch will choose 4 recognised charities to benefit from this fun event which will be selected be the competitors at time of entry. The winner  of the event will have the proceeds go directly to their charity. Entries will be taken on the day and it will cost €5 to enter.  The event will only be open to parents, coaches, spectators and in general anyone who hasn’t entered the competition proper or hasn’t played in an Irish ranking in quite a while.  Its intended to be a fun event and there will be bats available for anyone who hasnt got one.......bring your runners!

Club of the Tournament

Ben Haughton has kindly donated a perpetual trophy to the Munster Open and it will be awarded to the club cumulating the most points from the U-12, U-14 and U-17 boys and girls event this year.  It is proposed to have this event every year but the qualifying events may change from year to year at the discretion of the Munster Branch.

On behalf of the Munster Branch I would like to wish everyone safe travel tomorrow and I hope you have an enjoyable tournament.  The people to be thanked are to numerous but they know who they are and without them this event would not be possible.
