Cowan Appointed New ITTF Partnerships Manager

Table Tennis Ireland is delighted to learn that former Irish International Jonny Cowan has been appointed to the position of Partnerships Manager for the ITTF, the sports global governing body.

Jonny has built up a wealth of experience throughout his career, both within Table Tennis and further afield, stemming all the way back to his days as a Senior International with the Irish Men's Team. More recently, Jonny has gained recognition as the 'Voice of Table Tennis', having been the Head of Ceremories at both the London and Rio Olympic Games, as well as the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Jonny's experience in communications and marketing make his appointment a major coup for the ITTF. Notably, his past roles include the position of Head of Marketing for Everton Football Club, whilst he has also been involved with various projects concerning UEFA, the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and Premiership Rugby.

On behalf of Table Tennis Ireland, we would like to extend a warm congratulations to Jonny on this fantastic achievement and we wish him all the best with his new challenge.
