Tournament Regulations

● Competitors MUST be affiliated to Table Tennis Ireland AND be a member of the Irish Veterans Table Tennis Society.

(See Note 1 below).

● The Tournament Committee reserves the right to alter the schedule or cancel any event.

● I.T.T.F. rules will apply, including 11 point, 5 set games.

● Seedings will be based solely on IVTTS Rankings.

● The decision of the umpire on facts and of the Referee on points of law is final & binding.

● A tie in the group will be resolved in accordance with I.T.T.F. rules.

● Completed entry forms MUST be received ON or BEFORE the Closing date.

● Players will be SCRATCHED if not present and ready to play or umpire when required.

● Xushaofa 3 Star 40+ balls will be used.

Please Note: Competitors may enter a maximum of TWO Singles events, one of which must be their own actual age group. Competitors MUST check in 15 minutes before scheduled start.

Entry fee £10 per event. Doubles £5

Plate Events will be held, dependent on the number of entries.

ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY.

NOTE 1

- As per competition rules and Table Tennis Ireland regulations, all players MUST be affiliated to Table Tennis Ireland.

- Players will NOT be allowed play in events if they do not fulfil this affiliation requirement. This will be strictly enforced in Season 17/18.

- Affiliation fees are payable on the day at the tournament site.

There are three options for Masters Players:

Option 1:

Affiliate annually by completing the attached form with payment of £14stg. This covers the entire season of Masters Events only. Personal insurance cover is included.

Option 2:

Players can choose to take a ‘Day Licence’ which will cover their affiliation requirement for the specific Tournament only. If you wish to avail of this option, check this box and pay £3stg to Event Organiser with entry fee.

Option 3:

Affiliate annually as a senior member to Table Tennis Ireland at the full rate of €35. This can be paid online or by post. This rate covers the affiliation requirement for ALL events played under the auspices of Table Tennis Ireland (including Butterfly National Senior Ranking Events as well as Masters Events, provincial Events etc...).
