The Board of Directors met on Tuesday 7th of July where they discussed the planning for the adjourned AGM. The Board agreed that the use of the Conference Room in Irish Sport HQ for the adjourned AGM would not be conducive to abiding by current government guidance on Covid 19 restrictions. It was agreed to hold the AGM in an auditorium in University College Dublin on Saturday 22nd of August, commencing at 10.30am.

The Board of TTI has adopted the “Return to Table Tennis - Club/Training Environment: COVID-19 Responses & Protocols”. The ‘Protocols’ document was developed by the Management Committee and has been ratified by Sport Ireland and the Sport Ireland COVID-19 Expert Medical Group.

Europe Trophy 2020-2021 – NEW Cup Competition for Clubs

- The ETTU has launched a NEW Club Cup Competition for Men’s and Women’s Teams. Closing date for preliminary entry is Wednesday 15th of July 2020
- This is aimed at Club Teams from Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar
- Low cost competition: Entry Fee- 250 euro(£225) with lower travel costs and run as a European regional competition – less requirement for clubs to host
- The event played in group rounds over 2/3 weekends (Saturday-Sunday)
- A Grand Final with travel assistance from the ETTU for the regional winner in each of the 9 Regions in Europe
